GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL

Every year, audience transportation is the largest contributor to the festival’s carbon emissions (400 tCO2e in 2024, over half of the festival’s footprint), mainly from air and car travel. There are many lower-carbon, friendly alternatives to reach the festival easily at any hour, day or night.

Use the ADEME Simulator to calculate the carbon impact of your trip based on your chosen mode of transportation.

ECO-ACTIONS AND BEHAVIOR

WE LOVE GREEN is committed to being a responsible event by limiting environmental impact (carbon footprint, biodiversity, and resource protection).

We ask for your support by committing to:

We Love Green takes place in the heart of a wooded urban park. Concerned about the balance of the Bois’ biodiversity, our teams pay particular attention to the festival’s impacts (limiting noise & light pollution with bans). A biodiversity study on the impacts of the festival is underway, and the results of the first year have been published and are available here!

We need your help:
In order not to pollute the ground and limit the need to restore the park, the rule is: zero cigarette butts and waste on the ground.

Smokers, please dispose of your cigarette butts in the dedicated garbage cans or in your pocket ashtrays (available at the festival info point).

We Love Green has an enhanced waste sorting and recycling policy:

  • Volunteer Green Brigade to help you with proper waste sorting
  • Clearly marked waste bins throughout the festival site

We need your help!
Properly sorting your waste helps save precious time and improve recycling. In 2024, 78% of the festival’s waste was recycled.

Bring your own reusable bottle to help reduce water consumption!

CASHLESS

The festival is 100% cashless. Your money is credited to an account linked to your bracelet, which is used for all on-site transactions (drinks, food, merchandise, etc.). This system also allows you to make donations to the associations supported by the festival !
