An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Max writes, performs, produces, and crafts every track himself. His influence can be heard on tracks by Weyes Blood, Drugdealer, Sega Bodega, Clara Luciani, Fearybabyy, Goldie Boutilier, and Hannah Jadagu, for whom he produced the album *Aperture* and co-produced the new *Describe* on Sub Pop. In October 2025, he co-produced “melodrama” by disiz and Theodora, which reached number 1 in France and was praised for its organic production, its 80s-tinged synths, and its emotional intensity.

As a solo artist, Max Baby crafts a sound at the intersection of post-modern indie, alternative rock, experimental pop, and electronic textures. A nocturnal, physical, and instinctive music that finds its greatest truth in imperfection.
