There’s been quite a bit of new music from our amazing lineup this year.

Gorillaz, who hadn’t released anything in three years, unveiled their new album The Mountain on February 27, and we love it. Blending oriental sounds, hip-hop, rock, and Britpop, this ninth album is a gem that adds to a discography already deeply rooted in culture.

NeS aka your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper released his debut album Des pieds et des mains on March 13, a breath of fresh air with a vintage boom-bap style, rhymes galore, and tracks that make you nod your head or reflect on the meaning of life in short, a masterclass.

Following the success of her first single, Les filles, les meufs certified platinum as well as her EP Grandir, Marguerite is back with La boss. This new single comes with a quirky music video, inspired by the American series The Office and filmed at her label’s offices.

Baptistin Cabalou, aka LB aka LABAT, is part of this new wave of DJs/producers who work without a safety net and without a fixed genre. Filtered house, techno, UKG, hard house, he takes it all, mixes it all, and comes up with something that makes us dance and feel nostalgic at the same time.

The debut album from Belgian-Portuguese rapper Blu Samu, (K)NOT, is finally out. It’s an album brimming with poetic flair, featuring 11 tracks that, according to her, capture every facet of her personality, ranging from post-punk and drum ’n’ bass to fado.
