Bambii is a musician in a class of her own. In her own way, she deconstructs and then reconstructs today’s major electronic genres to sculpt an explosive music, somewhere between hyperpop and R’n’B, big beat and shatta. For this leading producer on the Toronto scene, everything is conducive to mixing and inspiration, to the unparalleled aesthetic that shines through on her Infinity Club EP, released in 2023. It’s hardly surprising that Kelela and Mykki Blanco are so enamored of her, and so grateful for her obvious talent.
