Hitting rarely, but making a mark each time, seems to be Shay’s mantra. This reduced productivity, however, does not tarnish her reputation and even tends to heighten anticipation for each of her appearances. Shay became known to the general public in 2016 with the release of her first album “Jolie Garce” after being part of the Belgian collective “BX Vibes,” returned in 2019 with the powerful album “Antidote,” and has gradually built a solid place in Francophone rap. Her latest singles “Jolie Go” and “Commando” once again prove that Shay is determined to break through the glass ceiling of the rap industry and that her new album will meet our expectations.
